True Color Image Scanner [Apunix Computer Services]

Apunix's True Color image scanner for SPARC-based workstations has both24-bit color and 8-bit grayscale (256-level grayscale) scan modes. Ahigh-quality, accurate color image is produced in a single pass scan. Thelow cost 300 dpi native resolution scanner (Model ASC-300TC) has amaximum scan area of 8.5" x 12".Apunix also has a high-quality, fast 600 dpi scanner (Model ASC-600TC)with the legal sized page scan area. The scanner has optional documentfeeder and transparency option. Apunix also has a very high-quality 600dpi B-sized color scanner (Model ASC-610TC) that includes a transparencymode. Image processing options such a brightness and gamma curve settingsare selectable for all three scanners. A high-speed SCSI-2-compliantinterface assures no adverse interference with other peripheralsattached to the SCSI port. The low-cost color scanner also has anoptional transparency option. All of the scanners come with Apunix'sOpenScan software package.
